Day 1: We join our coach and travel to Dover for our crossing to Calais. Onwards through France to our overnight hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast and we continue our journey through Germany, over the border into Austria and onto our resort and hotel, which will be our base for the next five nights. Dinner.
Days 3 - 6: At leisure in resort with three included excursions. Meals and inclusions at hotel as stated.
Day 7: Breakfast. We bid a fond farewell to our hosts and head north to our overnight hotel.
Day 8: Breakfast. Our homeward journey takes us to Calais for the short Channel crossing to the UK, arriving home later today.       

This large, traditional 4* hotel has a warm atmosphere and wonderful panoramic views of the Wilder Kaiser. The hotel bar will charm you, offering local specialties and a splendid atmosphere. Relax on the hotel's summer terrace, or in the outdoor swimming pool, steam bath and Jacuzzi. The bedrooms are en-suite, with balcony (on request), radio, telephone and satellite TV.

GROSSGLOCKNER HIGH ALPINE ROAD
This most famous alpine road leads us into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, to the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3798m) and its glacier, the Pasterze. We have a  journey and nature experience of a special kind, on 48km of high alpine road, with 36 hairpin bends and an altitude ascent to 2504m! We have a stop for lunch (packed - see inclusions). This excursion offers great photo opportunities. This excursion is weather permitting.      
KITZBUHEL
We visit the chic resort of Kitzbuhel, which is set against a spectacular backdrop of stunning alpine scenery and combines a modern sophistication with a fairytale atmosphere, where the multitude of bars, pavement cafes and shops blend harmoniously with cobbled streets and picturesque painted houses.
SALZBURG
One of the most beautiful cities in Austria, Salzburg offers lovely squares and medieval lanes, Gothic churches and quaint cafés.  Baroque buildings bear testament to the city’s illustrious past, once ruled by the powerful and wealthy bishops. It is also famed as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and as the setting for ‘The Sound of Music'.
