Over the last few years, themed breaks have become increasingly popular, particularly for our regular customers. The range that we are bringing back in 2021 is bigger and better than ever before!
In reality, nearly every one of our 2021 breaks and holidays has a theme to it but in this section we have collated the ones that are built around specific themes, many from TV, film and history.
A visit to Emmerdale Studios or the set of Coronation Street have long been firm favourites for Leisuretimers whilst a tour of Highclere Castle, the imposing setting for Downton Abbey, never fail to impress or delight- and with a new Downton Abbey film released in 2019, we only expect that interest to increase. This year has also seen the addition of our themed Peaky Blinders tour, a fascinating excursion into the gangland world of this hugely popular hit TV series.
For those less interested in TV and film, we also have a great break to Blenheim Palace and Bletchley for those keen to find out more about our recent wartime and military history or maybe our ‘Olde England’ themed break to Blists Hill at Ironbridge and the Black Country Museum is more your cup of tea? A visit to Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard is also a must for history buffs as is our trip up to Scotland to discover some of Queen Victoria’s favourite places!
If you’re a sporting enthusiast then check out our rugby themed breaks. Railway enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice as a number of our tours include some fabulous scenic rail journeys, some by steam, but all boasting stunning views and a rich heritage.
For those looking to relax a little, a number of our hotels offer spas and great leisure facilities but our popular Sunday night pamper breaks could be just the ticket it you want to just put your feet up and be spoiled…
So whatever ‘theme’ you are looking for in 2021, we’re confident that you’ll find something here that will catch your interest!
