Tenby is a town steeped in ancient history surrounded by an imposing medieval stone wall. Through the passages of time Tenby has seen many changes but it has been on the leisure map for over 200 years. With an abundance of experience, the people of Tenby certainly know how to offer each and every visitor an unforgettable time.
The Belgrave Hotel is a Grade II listed building built in 1874 located in Tenby and just a short walk away from the town centre. Features include a shared lounge, bar and on-site dining. The property is close to several noted attractions.
After joining the coach, we head towards our destination via Tenby, stopping for lunch and free time on the way. We expect to arrive at our hotel late afternoon.
Traditional English breakfast followed by free time and included excursions. Dinner and entertainment at the hotel.
After breakfast we make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.
A postcard perfect seaside town, Tenby is truly a beautiful place to visit whatever the time of year. Stroll the narrow cobbled streets, enjoy the many cafes, restaurants and bars, take a walk onto the harbour or just enjoy the beautiful beach.
The Pembrokeshire coast is what you imagine the world would look like if God were a geology teacher. There are knobbly hills of volcanic rock, long thin inlets scoured by glaciers, and stratified limestone pushed up vertically and then eroded into arches, blowholes and sea stacks. All along the shoreline towering red and grey cliffs play leapfrog with perfect sandy beaches.
Cute-as-a-button Saundersfoot has a long, lovely beach with a sweet little harbour at one end, built in 1829 for the shipment of coal. Nowadays the only mining activity hereabouts is carried out by the toddlers digging in the golden sand. Well-kept old houses cling to the hilly streets radiating up from the town centre, where there are some interesting shops to peruse.
