Great seafront hotel!

Weymouth is one of the easiest resorts to get around with it’s candy-striped kiosks and deck chair lined golden, 3-mile beach. Chuck in cockles and chippies and prepare to promenade down seaside memory lane. But Weymouth is about more than just that sandy shore. The town boasts a bustling harbour, some superb seafood, and watersports. You will never be short of things to do in Weymouth, with an abundance of natural and themed attractions for everyone to enjoy! With beautiful golden sands, safe shallow waters, and pretty harbourside, you won’t be disappointed!

Leam Hotel

Set amid the splendour of Weymouth’s wonderful Esplanade, described as ‘one of the finest marine promenades in the kingdom,’ (Bradshaw’s Guide) The Leam was built in 1780, originally as a pair of gentlemen’s residences, and has been welcoming guests to Weymouth since 1926. The hotel has an atmospheric bar and restaurant and has recently opened a new cafe on the ground floor offering wonderful panoramic sea views.

Day 1

After joining the coach, we head towards our destination that will have coffee/lunch stops along the way. We expect to arrive at our hotel late afternoon.

Days 2 - 3

Traditional English breakfast followed by free time and included excursions. Dinner and entertainment at the hotel.

Day 4

After breakfast we make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.

Blandford Forum

Located on the banks of the River Stour, Blandford Forum is the most complete, small Georgian town in England and is located in the north of Dorset. In the early 18th century, fires decimated much of the town, but it was largely rebuilt and is a wonderful example of Georgian architecture. The Fire Monument in the Market place acknowledges its fiery past and a visit to the Blandford Museum tells the intriguing story of the rebirth of the town. Surrounding the attractive Blandford Forum market place is a variety of independent shops and boutiques, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Poole

Poole is a resort for all seasons and the perfect choice for making unforgettable holiday memories. A bustling tourist resort known for Europe’s largest natural harbour, award winning blue flag beaches including the world famous Sandbanks Beach, a bustling quayside and a beautiful historic old town. With Poole’s natural coastal setting you are sure to find plenty of superb beachside cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars making it a great place to relax with friends.

Dorchester

If you’re searching for a town that’s full of character, then Dorchester won’t disappoint. Big name stores, chef-led restaurants, cafes, bars and bistros, museums, attractions, glorious gardens, river walks and a Roman Town House, you’ll find plenty to see and do in Dorset’s county town, a place long associated with the writer and poet Thomas Hardy because Dorchester is the ‘Casterbridge’ featured in his most famous novel.

West Bay

West Bay has enjoyed a surge in popularity in recent years while playing host to ITV’s smash hit Drama Broadchurch starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman. It’s not hard to see why the location was chosen, West Bay offers some stunning landscape to explore with breath-taking views from its dramatic coastline.
