After joining the coach, we head towards our destination via Portobello Road. We expect to arrive at our hotel in good time to prepare for dinner. In the evening we go on a Jack The Ripper walking tour.
After breakfast, we head to Covent Garden till 3pm before rejoining the coach for our journey homewards and return to our local joining point later today.
Portobello Market & Jack the Ripper Tour
Arrive around lunchtime at London’s famous Portobello Market and spend time browsing the numerous antique stalls and shops and just savouring the atmosphere of one of the world’s best-known street markets. There is food and drink aplenty available along with a diverse range of other stalls and shops selling a wide range of curios and fascinating wares. Then head on over to Aldgate East tube station to join your chilling Jack the Ripper Walking Tour and hear about the gruesome deeds of one of Britains’ most infamous murderers…not for the feint hearted!
