INCREDIBLE value!

Artistic enclaves, stunning shores, unique histories and expansive wildlife escapes make Folkestone well worth a visit. In its quaint regenerated streets, you’ll discover cutting-edge art in its unique Creative Quarter, which houses over 100 artistic enterprises within its cobbled centre. Explore pastel-painted studio-galleries, and indulge in quirky stores, laid-back bars and chic eateries. The mile-long cliff-top promenade of The Leas is just a short stroll away, offering sea views to France and a ride to the Lower Leas Coastal Park. Our jam-packed holiday programme includes nightly live entertainment a 2-4-1 bar (3 hours) every night at the hotel, a trip to Belgium and a day trip to the famous city of Canterbury. Wow!

Grand Burstin Hotel

Looking not unlike a majestic ocean liner, the Grand Burstin towers over Folkestone’s attractive harbour and offers excellent choice of facilities and a full programme of LIVE CABARET. Take a break at the Grand Burstin and dine in style, unwind in relaxed surroundings, maybe even enjoy a little light exercise in the Pavilion Leisure Club (additional charge). And for the evenings, perhaps best of all, is the entertainment...renowned as one of the UK’s great entertainment hotels, the Grand Burstin’s resident team put on the glitz and glamour for a different cabaret spectacular every evening.

Day 1

After joining the coach, we head towards our destination that will have coffee/lunch stops along the way. We expect to arrive at our hotel late afternoon.

Days 2 - 3

Traditional English breakfast followed by free time and included excursions. Dinner and entertainment at the hotel.

Day 4

After breakfast we make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.

Bruges

Bruges, once a flourishing trading centre, with its wealthy merchants’ homes built lovingly and to last. Through time, the city slumbered as a forgotten backwater, but its rich heritage and picture-postcard beauty could not remain hidden forever and inevitably Bruges was rediscovered as an unspoilt treasure. Visitors now flock to explore the cobbled streets and old guild houses in the Market Place, but it is the canals, with their ancient humped bridges, that create its unique character and which earned it the title of the ‘Venice of the North’. Small enough to explore by foot, horse-drawn carriage or canal boat, there is much to see - museums and art flourish, good restaurants abound and pretty shops sell lace, Flemish tapestry, specialty beers and chocolates…wonderful!

Please note that whilst we have a full day excursion to Bruges, after allowing for travelling time and ferry crossings we will have 2/3 hours to enjoy the city.

Canterbury

England’s most famous cathedral city sits in one of the most attractive corners of rural Kent. The majestic cathedral watches proudly over the charming, narrow streets and old buildings of this wondrous city - a delightful mix of architecture, history, art, culture, museums, shops of every description, visitor attractions and good restaurants...something for everyone!
