Amazing Value Turkey & TInsel Break!
Llandudno is one of the most popular and pretty coastal towns in North Wales. It’s known for North Shore Beach and 19th-century Llandudno Pier, with its shops and games arcade. Northwest of town, the cliffs of Great Orme headland jut into the sea. Llandudno is without doubt the ‘Queen of Welsh Resorts’. The long, crescent-shaped promenade and sweeping sands make it a perfect holiday destination all year round.
On this great festive tour, we have included great excursions to Caernarfon, Porthmadog and Snowdonia along with a fun Turkey & Tinsel themed package of food and entertainment.
Your Turkey & Tinsel package includes lots of live festive entertainment, "Christmas Day" with sherry reception followed by Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings along with a visit from Santa and "New Year's Eve" with a glass of bucks fizz to see in the NY!
The Risboro Hotel sits between the two beaches that lie at the foot of the Orme, just a stone’s throw from the tram station for the summit of the Orme. The hotel also has a lounge bar, sun terrace and entertainment lounge with dance floor. What more could you possibly want?!
After joining the coach, we head north towards Llandudno. There will be convenient coffee/lunch stops en route and we expect to arrive at the Risboro Hotel late afternoon and in good time for dinner and our first night of festive entertainment.
Breakfast and free time in your resort plus your included excursions to Caernarfon, Porthmadog & Snowdonia. Return to your hotel in the evenings to enjoy dinner and our fabulous Turkey & Tinsel package which includes lots of live festive entertainment, "Christmas Day" with sherry reception followed by Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings along with a visit from Santa and "New Year's Eve" with a glass of bucks fizz to see in the NY!
After breakfast we make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.
Home to Wales’s most famous castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, mighty Caernarfon Castle commands the lion’s share of attention, but the town’s narrow streets and stylishly redeveloped waterfront also merit a visit. The castle, built in the 13th century by Edward I as a royal palace and military fortress, was at the core of a medieval walled town.
A harbour town situated on the Glaslyn Estuary, is rich in maritime history and has a number of craft shops, tea-rooms and restaurants.
Snowdonia National Park
The Snowdonia National Park boasts vast areas of natural beauty and unique scenery. It is known as Eryri by Welsh a name that can be translated as “the place of the eagles”. The park which covers 838 square miles is one of the three natural parks found in Wales and the oldest one being designated as one in 1951.
