A trip to Yorkshire is always bracing with so much beautiful scenery to enjoy, fresh air and fascinating cities.
Yorkshire is a big and beautiful county. It reaches into no less than three National Parks - the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the Peak District. It also includes the majestic moorland of Brontë Country and the tranquil beauty of the Howardian Hills,,Yorkshire Wolds, Moors & Dales and of course a spectacular coastline too. The history in many of the cities is exceptional with visitors travelling from all over the world just get a flavour of what these magnificent places to offer.
On this Christmas break, you will see some of the wonderful scenery of this special part of England. Who knows where you will end up? Will it be in or close to one of Yorkshire’s great cities or in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside? Wherever it is, you can be assured of a warm Yorkshire welcome with plenty of festive cheer!
As this is a 'Destination' holiday, its exceptional price means that whilst you know where you are going and what's included, we can't tell you which coach seat or hotel until just before you go. It's a great way to save money as long as you're flexible with the hotel and you're not fussy where you sit on the coach.
Hotel: We'll let you know before you go!
You will be staying in a good hotel in the local area. All the bedrooms will have private facilities, colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities, and the hotel will have a good bar and restaurant offering lovely festive food and entertainment. Your hotel will be named on your final travel documents, approximately 7 days before departure.
Please be aware that the hotel may not be suitable for passengers with mobility difficulties.
After joining the coach, we head north towards Yorkshire making a stop or two along the way for coffee/lunch. We expect to arrive at our hotel during the late afternoon where we are greeted with a welcome drink. Check-in and time to settle in before dinner this evening.
Day 2 - 4
Traditional English breakfasts followed by free time and our included mystery excursion. Dinners every evening, Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings and festive entertainment at the hotel are all part of your Destination package.
After breakfast we say farewell to our hosts as we depart for home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break or two, we continue homewards getting back during the late afternoon.
The tour will include at least one excursion.
