Join us for an unmissable tour featuring two the locations for 2 great TV series,

Emmerdale experience. Visit the Emmerdale Studio Experience for a behind-the-scenes look at the shows’ We’ll head into central Leeds for our visit to the Emmerdale Studio Experience, which offers a fascinating insight into one of Britain’s most iconic TV shows. See the interior sets for Bernice’s Salon and The Dingles’ living room, and discover what it’s like to act out a scene in Smithy Cottage as your Emmerdale Studio Experience guide talks you through past storylines and unique displays of props and memorabilia.

We'll also take a trip out to the vllage of Holmfirth, the setting for the iconic TV series Last of the Summer Wine. Pose on the famous stone walls and see if you can spot the homes of the programme's most famous characters.

There will also be some free time for you to explore Leeds, one of the UK's most vibrant northern cities.

Britannia Hotel Leeds Bradford

The Britannia Leeds Bradford Bramhope Hotel is a modern hotel, set in 3 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Guests can enjoy the Spindles Health Club, with a hot tub, indoor swimming pool and sauna (small extra charge applies daily). There is also a modern fitness centre, solarium, sun terrace, and poolside café.

Day 1

After joining the coach at one of our local joining points, we head north towards Leeds with convenient coffee/lunch stops en route. We expect to arrive at our hotel in the later afternoon. Check in and then relax after the journey, maybe with a visit to the hotel leisure centre or just a drink at our 2-4-1 bar. Then enjoy dinner at the hotel and your holiday has begun!

Day 2

After a tasty traditional English breakfast join your fellow travellers for a brief trip into Leeds and find out why this is such an increasingly popular city for visitors of all ages. Afterwards travel on to Emmerdale Studios and enjoy time finding out everything you ever wanted to know about the making of this popular TV series. Return to the hotel in the evening for another tasty dinner and a drink or two from the 2-4-1 bar which we have laid on for you.

Day 3

After a final hearty breakfast, we board the coach for Holmfirth where you will have some free time to explore the location for the iconic Last of the Summer Wine. Then rejoin the coach in the early afternoon for our journey home.

Emmerdale Studio Experience

We’ll head into central Leeds for our visit to the Emmerdale Studio Experience, which offers a fascinating insight into one of Britain’s most iconic TV shows. See the interior sets for Bernice’s Salon and The Dingles’ living room, and discover what it’s like to act out a scene in Smithy Cottage as your Emmerdale Studio Experience guide talks you through past storylines and unique displays of props and memorabilia. Interactive elements will show you some of the special effects used to create iconic scenes such as the helicopter crash that devastated Pete and Debbie’s wedding, and Cameron Murray’s death during the flooding of the Woolpack cellar. After finishing your guided tour of the Emmerdale Studio sets, enjoy free time in the centre of Leeds to hit the shops or just relax in one of the many bars, cafes or restaurants on offer.

Holmfirth

Located in the heart of the beautiful Holme Valley, Holmfirth is a small town that sits just north of the Peak District in West Yorkshire. The town is better known as the location for the popular BBC TV series Last of the Summer Wine, with thousands of fans making the journey every year to visit such locations as Sid’s Cafe and Nora Batty’s Steps. With its breath-taking scenery across the Holme Valley, Holmfirth is also popular with walkers and wildlife enthusiasts alike, and if that isn’t enough there are some wonderful attractions to be seen in the town itself. It is also home to a wide range of eating places, including restaurants, wine bars, pubs take-always that cater for a wide variety of tastes.

Leeds

Set on the south bank of the River Aire, Leeds is famous for many things including its football team but the most popular attraction for many visitors is the Royal Armouries, which houses the national collection of arms and artillery. Across the river, the redeveloped industrial area around Call Lane is famed for bars and live music venues under converted railway arches. For those looking for a bargain or to pick up some traditional local Yorkshire fayre, then Leeds Kirkgate Market could be for you, featuring hundreds of indoor and outdoor stalls. Whatever your interest, though, Leeds will provide you with a fascinating experience that will live long in the memory.
