Newton Abbot

Newton Abbot is an historic market town surrounded by beautiful South Devon countryside. The town also provides access to some great parks and outdoor spaces Decoy Country Park, Courteny Park and Bakers Park can all be found within walking distance of the centre, as can the Town Quay and new bridge.

Exeter

Exeter is an ancient city on the River Exe in southwest England. Dating back to the Roman era, the Exeter City Walls surround its centre and Gothic Exeter Cathedral. Exeter Castle, a Norman landmark, overlooks leafy Northernhay and Rougemont Gardens. To their west, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) displays fine art and costumes. The vaulted, medieval Underground Passages snake beneath the city making this a fascinating city to explore at any time of the year.

Buckfast Abbey

a tranquil refuge from the hectic pace of everyday life. The Abbey is a working monastery where a community of Benedictine monks live self-sufficiently, welcoming visitors from all around the world. At the heart of the site is the Abbey Church, a spiritual haven for the many thousands of visitors who come each year. There is an overwhelming sense of peace as soon as you enter the grounds with the church surrounded by gardens which in the summer come alive with colour. Within the Abbey precinct, visitors can browse in the Bookshop or visit the Monastic Shop which has an extraordinary array of products made by nuns and monks across Europe.
