Amazing Value Welsh Rugby Weekend
Seafront hotel location with fabulous entertainment!
If you fancy watching the rugby whilst also enjoying a great little seaside break, then this rugby weekend break is just the ticket! With the game on the big screen and great company to share the match with, what's not to love?
Llandudno is known for its super beach and 19th-century Llandudno Pier, with shops and games arcade. Northwest of town, the cliffs of Great Orme headland jut into the sea. All this and a long, crescent-shaped promenade and sweeping sands make it a perfect holiday destination. There's some great entertainment at this hotel and it's just a short stroll from the beautiful seaside promenade, beach and town centre.
This lovely tour allows you plenty of time to enjoy Llandudno whilst also taking in the rugby. We'll also take you out for a lovely scenic drive through Snowdonia and visiting the pretty market town of Conwy.
The Ambassador is renowned by many regular returning guests for its comfort, service and friendliness. The hotel is set in a great location offering wonderful sea views and is owned and run by the Williams family who have been in charge for 3 generations. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and even its own patisserie whilst all of its bedrooms are served by a lift and offer all of the usual amenities you would expect.
After joining the coach at one of our convenient local pick up points, head north through stunning Welsh scenery to the beautiful coastal resport of Llandudno. There will be convenient coffee/lunch stops en route and we expect to arrive at the lovely Ambassador Hotel in the late afternoon. Check in, unpack and unwind before dinner. Maybe a stroll along the sweeping prom would be good to blow the travel cobwebs away, alternatively, there is always the hotel bar or numerous pubs to try out! You'll certainly have worked up an appetite for dinner this evening before your first night of cabaret entertainment...
Enjoy hearty traditional Welsh breakfasts every day along with some free time to explore this lovely resort on your own whilst also watching the 6 Nations on the big screen. Our INCLUDED excursion, though, is a real highlight so make sure you don't miss out on Conwy and Snowdonia National Park. Whatever you're up to during the day, you can always look forward to tasty evening meals in the hotel along with some great entertainment to relax and maybe even sing along too?
After a last breakfast, it is sadly time to make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.
Snowdonia National Park
Snowdonia's landscape is unique. The nine mountain ranges cover approximately 52% of the Park and include many peaks that are over 3,000 feet (915m). Apart from the beauty and charm of its high mountains, Snowdonia is a delightfully varied landscape of steep river gorges, waterfalls and green valleys. Oak, ash, rowan and hazel woodlands are found scattered throughout the Park whilst the beautiful Dyfi, Mawddach and Dwyryd estuaries and 23 miles of coastline and sandy beaches contribute to the overall diversity of the landscape.
It’s rare that there is so much to do in such a small town. There is stunning scenery, the smallest house in Britain, the Bodnant gardens and Conwy Mountain just to name a few things to see in this pretty market town. Climb to the top of one of Conwy Castle's eight towers to get a stunning view of Conwy, explore the inner and outer wards with their many rooms and explore the castle walls with their 21 towers that completely enclose Conwy town.
