Great hotel location, fabulous festive food & entertainment all topped off with a visit to Victoria & Albert's Osborne House on Boxing Day!
Enjoy this fabulous Christmas holiday on the gorgeous Isle of Wight. This diamond shaped island is a UK gem and one of Queen Victoria’s favourite spots. It is also one of the sunniest and warmest places in the country, located just a few miles from the South Coast of England. No passport is needed for the short ferry crossing, and once you're on the Island everything is within easy reach. The Isle of Wight has over 60 miles of stunning coastal scenery, lively resorts and quaint villages combine with a friendliness and old-fashioned charm to make for a really memorable Christmas holiday.
We stay in the resort of Sandown with its miles of soft golden sands crowned by Sandown’s pleasure pier. Popular with tourists, Sandown is a 'bucket and spade' holiday destination with a lovely esplanade and a whole lot more.
This Christmas holiday is remarkably good value, considering that there's a ferry crossing included, festive food & an entertainment programme. On Christmas Eve we will go to Ryde and to the famous yachting town of Cowes. Boxing Day see us heading off to gorgeous Osborne House, beautifully decorated for the festive season.

Cowes (on Christmas Eve)
Cowes, famed for its professional sailing, stunning Victorian architecture and vibrant festival atmosphere is one of the most popular towns on the Isle of Wight to visit year round. There are stunning sea views over the Solent to the mainland beyond. Find a spot to sit and watch the world go by...
Ryde (on Christmas Eve)
The largest town on the island, Ryde has fine Georgian and Victorian buildings, shops, tea-rooms, pubs, restaurants, and a marina. The sea-wall promenade provides a popular walk, passing the Victorian watchtower on the way to Puckpool Park.
Osborne House (on Boxing Day)
Osborne House is the stunning seaside retreat of Queen Victoria that was also designed by Prince Albert. Recognised as her favourite spot in the world, here you can explore this sumptuous ltalianate villa and its beautiful grounds, preserved as it was when the Queen died here in 1901.
