Glasgow is one of the most exciting cities you'll ever come across - a lively, bustling place, distinctive and full of character, where you are bound to get a very warm welcome indeed. The city is home also home to some of the world’s finest transport in the Riverside Museum. Sitting on the banks of the River Clyde you can transport yourself to a different time as you walk down a reconstructed cobbled street with shops dating from 1895-1980s and discover a past Glasgow.

You'll also enjoy a fabulous full day excursion into the beautiful Trossachs including a steamship cruise on the gorgeous Loch Katrine, PLUS a visit to beautiful Inveraray.

Rob Roy Hotel, Aberfoyle

This comfortable hotel is situated a mile from Aberfoyle and at the gateway to the Trossachs in beautiful countryside, where one of Scotland’s most famous rogues, ‘Rob Roy McGregor’, once roamed. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, bar, dance-floor and lounge from which to enjoy the evening entertainment. Guest bedrooms have TV, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.

Day 1

After joining the coach at one of our local pick-up points, we head north and head for Scotland with convenient coffee/tea stops en route. We expect to arrive at the Rob Roy Hotel and the gateway to the Trossachs in the late afternoon. Check-in, unpack and maybe enjoy a pre-dinner drink before settling in for dinner.

Day 2 - 4

Enjoy heart traditional Scottish breakfast daily along with free time to explore on your own or relax. Make sure you join us for our INCLUDED excursions, though. Dinner and entertainment nightly.

Day 5

After a final tasty breakfast we make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.

Inveraray & Luss

Overlooking the still waters of Loch Fyne, Inveraray is a traditional county town in Argyll. Established in 1745 by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, head of the powerful Clan Campbell, the town is an absolute set piece of Scottish Georgian architecture. Key buildings that are worth visiting include the neoclassical church, and Inveraray Jail and courthouse, now an award-winning museum that graphically recounts prison conditions from medieval times up until the 19th century. A short walk north of the New Town, the neo-Gothic Inveraray Castle remains the family home of the Dukes of Argyll. There are also the usual choice of great shops, bars and restaurants to explore and maybe enjoy a ‘wee dram’?

We will also stop by the pretty loch-side village of Luss, set right on Loch Lomond.

Glasgow Heritage

We're not exaggerating when we say that we think Glasgow is one of the most exciting cities you'll ever come across - a lively, bustling place, distinctive and full of character, where you are bound to get a very warm welcome indeed. This is a city with striking architecture, contemporary art spaces and fascinating museums, many of which are free. Glasgow city centre is one of the best shopping destinations in the UK, outside of London's West End, and when it comes to nightlife, Glasgow knows what it's doing. With a diverse culinary scene, abundance of pubs and bars as well as some of the UK's best music venues, this is the city for the the living!

The Riverside Museum

Glasgow is also home to some of the world’s finest transport in the Riverside Museum. Sitting on the banks of the River Clyde the museum is home to over 3000 objects which all showcase Glasgow’s rich past. Transport yourself to a different time as you walk down a reconstructed cobbled street with shops dating from 1895-1980s and discover a past Glasgow.

Loch Katrine Cruise & The Trossachs National Park

We take a scenic drive through the stunning Trossachs National Park where you'll see some of Scotland’s most beautiful countryside including plunging glens, sprawling lochs and enchanting villages. We will discover beautiful scenery from our coach as we make for Loch Katrine, in the heart of the National Park and to the Steamship, Sir Walter Scott.

With many charms, and rich heritage, Loch Katrine has won the heart of countless visitors. It is truly one of Scotland's special places. Just as special as the magnificent scenery is the famous steamship, the 'Sir Walter Scott', which itself has been a landmark in The Trossachs for over a hundred years. No visit is complete without a cruise on this wonderful ship or on 'Lady of the Lake'... the best way to experience the beauty of Loch Katrine.
