Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is the largest German-style Christmas Market outside Austria or Germany and is packed full of continental festive fayre and traditional goods that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. From the traditional German sausage and gluehwein stands through to the intricate lacework and porcelain, this is a great choice.

National Memorial Arboretum (Boxing Day)
The Arboretum is a great day out even in the midst of winter. Stay in the warm and participation in the Daily Act of Remembrance in the Millennium Chapel. Then visit the Landscapes of Life Exhibition to explore the stories behind the Arboretum, its memorials and the people remembered there. Afterwards, enjoy a mouth-watering lunch of homemade meat & potato pie with seasonal vegetables and tea or coffee. A fascinating presentation takes place during lunch on the Arboretum, delivered by one of the volunteer guides. After lunch take some time to venture out and explore the grounds at your leisure before we make our way back to the hotel.
