Leeds guided walking tour & free time Set on the south bank of the River Aire, Leeds is famous for many things including its football team but the most popular attraction for many visitors is the Royal Armouries, which houses the national collection of arms and artillery. Across the river, the redeveloped industrial area around Call Lane is famed for bars and live music venues under converted railway arches. For those looking for a bargain or to pick up some traditional local Yorkshire fayre, then Leeds Kirkgate Market could be for you, featuring hundreds of indoor and outdoor stalls. Whatever your interest, though, Leeds will provide you with a fascinating experience that will live long in the memory.
Skipton and Steam Train Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway Skipton is widely regarded as the gateway to the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, with visitors travelling the length and breadth of the country to visit this charming market town. We know you're going to love it! The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway is a volunteer-run, preserved Heritage Railway which operates year-round and provides heritage steam train rides through the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Yorkshire Dales: Grassington, Hawes & Wensleydale Creamery Explore the Yorkshire Dales with trips to a couple of its most picturesque villages. Grassington is a beautiful village in Upper Wharfedale and surrounded by stunning scenery. It was also transformed into Darrowby for the filming of Channel 5’s adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small. The magical market town of Hawes is one of England’s highest, set 850 feet above sea water. The first market in Hawes was first recorded in 1307 and still entices shoppers all these years later. As a hotspot for tourists visiting the Dales, there is always things to see and too, such as the water powered Gayle Mill.
