This midweek break gives you time to explore Blackpool on your own whilst enjoying breakfast, dinner and great entertainment at your centrally located hotel. You'll also be able to join us for a day out at Liverpool with a guided tour and river cruise, plus a trip to Skipton on market day. What more could you want?Blackpool is the stuff of old English postcards, known for its fun and humour. There is plenty to do for all ages on a traditional British seaside holiday to this iconic destination. From the high-tech adrenaline of its famed Pleasure Beach to its three distinctive piers dotted along the golden beach and remember to pick up a stick of Blackpool rock. There is a fabulous range of activities available if you are looking for something different. Blackpool Zoo, The Model Village and the Dungeons to name a few. In the evening, why not pop into Blackpool Tower and enjoy a waltz in the ballroom? Blackpool’s charm is its defiant embrace of the seaside holiday. It offers a mix of thrills, fun, laughs, and relaxation.
Georgian Hollies Hotel
In the very heart of the town on Albert Road, the Georgian Hollies is a popular choice for Leisuretimers. The hotel is close to Blackpool Tower, the Winter Gardens, shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, bars, residents lounge with large TV screen, games room, entertainment and lift.
Day 1After joining the coach, we head for the delights and beaches of Blackpool. We will have coffee/lunch stops along the way. We expect to arrive at our hotel in Blackpool in the late afternoon, giving you plenty of time to unpack and explore before your first tasty dinner and evening of great entertainment - all washed down by a few drinks from our £1 bar.Days 2 - 4Enjoy traditional English breakfasts every morning followed by our INCLUDED excursions to Liverpool and Skipton Market. Return to the hotel every evening for more fun and great food along with more drinks from the £1 bar. Day 5After a final delicious breakfast, we make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.
Liverpool Guided Tour & River Explorer Cruise There’s just so much to do in Liverpool and a guided tour is a great way to see the very best. A cultural capital birthplace of The Beatles and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Liverpool has world-class attractions, no less than two cathedrals, a proud sporting history and beautiful outdoor spaces making it the perfect location for a UK city break.As well as a guided tour, you’ll have free time to visit the places you want, but don’t miss out on a river explorer cruise to see one of the greatest water fronts in the world and learn about the fascinating history of Liverpool’s docks and the industry that grew from the river connections. Skipton Market (half day) We will also visit the pretty market town of Skipton, a major gateway to the famous Yorkshire Dales. As the gateway to the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, people travel the length and breadth of the country to visit this charming market town. With its famous 900 year old castle, romantic ruined priory and historic cobbled High Street, Skipton is endlessly rich both in history and outstanding natural beauty.
