We journey through the Brecon Beacons, with its picture perfect reservoirs, to Brecon, a beautiful cathedral town with views of the majestic mountains all around. We have some free time to explore the local shops and attractions as well as enjoying a cruise on the Monmouth and Brecon Canal. This historical waterway and fantastic feat of engineering (built before roads and railways) takes us on a scenic ride through a canal lock and over an aqueduct which carries the canal over the River Usk. We rejoin the coach at 17:00 to make our way back to South Wales.

We make our way to Moreton-in-Marsh to visit the traditional Tuesday market which is the largest in the Cotswolds. After some free time here, we make our way beautiful, historic Broadway, known as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds' with its pretty High Street lined with horse chestnut trees and mixture of period houses and honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages. A lovely day out.
