Tenby is probably the most iconic seaside town in Wales, rivalling places like Mevagissey and Polperro for quaintness and charm. We journey through the Brecon Beacons, with its picture perfect reservoirs, to Brecon, a beautiful cathedral town with views of the majestic mountains all around. We have some free time to explore the local shops and attractions as well as enjoying a cruise on the Monmouth and Brecon Canal. This historical waterway and fantastic feat of engineering (built before roads and railways) takes us on a scenic ride through a canal lock and over an aqueduct which carries the canal over the River Usk. We rejoin the coach at 17:00 to make our way back to South Wales.
Please be aware that the canal boat operates in all weather conditions, providing a unique experience regardless of the elements. While there are windows to enjoy the views, please note that there is no air conditioning, so it may feel warm on particularly sunny days.

Explore a wonderful after-dark experience and follow the new illuminated trail around the beautiful grounds which are home to Great British Bake Off!You'll travel first to the English market town of Marlborough, a great place to spend some time browsing the excellent range of shops and eating places. Welford Park, home to the famous Great British Bake Off tent, is our next stop to experience the Spectacle of Light, a glorious after-dark experience bringing these historic grounds to life in a completely magical way. Discover the night-time wonder of Welford Park through a wonderful spectacle of light and sound. Each space is designed in a unique and amazing style, creating wonderful immersive displays for all the family to enjoy.Enjoy the beautiful, illuminated trail through the majestic woodland and around the gardens all lit under the stars. You can treat yourself and sip a delicious hot chocolate or spiced cider as you meander along the trail or take a moment by the house to tuck into scrumptious hot food on sale.Afterwards you can relax on the coach as you head back home. We leave Welford Park at approx 21:00.

Also take in the splendour of St George's Chapel, the burial place of 11 monarchs including Queen Elizabeth II, Henry VIII and Charles I and the location of the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England.

The coach drop off point is approximately a ten minute walk from Windsor Castle. The Castle is at the top of a steep hill and the visitor route covers reasonably long distances. We recommend you wear comfortable shoes.

The beautiful, ancient royal town of Windsor, is situated on the River Thames with a rich history, dominated by Windsor Castle, one of the most iconic residences of the British Royal Family. We make our way to Moreton-in-Marsh to visit the traditional Tuesday market which is the largest in the Cotswolds. After some free time here, we make our way beautiful, historic Broadway, known as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds' with its pretty High Street lined with horse chestnut trees and mixture of period houses and honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages. A lovely day out.
