Tenby is probably the most iconic seaside town in Wales, rivalling places like Mevagissey and Polperro for quaintness and charm. This pretty seaside town has three great beaches; north, south and castle, each with its own character and all facing in different directions so at least one should be sheltered if it happens to be windy!

Subject to traffic and travel, we depart Tenby at approximately 17:00 to start our homeward journey back to South Wales.

A visit to York, nestled in the heart of England's historic county of Yorkshire, promises a journey back in time and a wealth of experiences for travellers of all interests.

This ancient city, with its well-preserved medieval walls and stunning architecture, is a living testament to centuries of history. It is a vibrant festival city with Roman roots and a Viking past. As you explore York's cobbled streets, you'll discover a captivating blend of old-world charm and vibrant modern life. From the grandeur of York Minster, one of Europe's most magnificent cathedrals, to the quaint, narrow lanes of The Shambles, lined with timber-framed buildings, there's something for everyone. Dive into history at the Jorvik Viking Centre, take a leisurely stroll along the city walls, or savour tea in a traditional tearoom. We also include a sightseeing cruise on the River Ouse with onboard commentary to learn more about this glorious city.

Whether you're drawn to its rich heritage, cultural attractions, or culinary delights, York offers a treasure trove of sights and activities to create lasting memories during your visit.

Our hotel on the outskirts of York offers comfortable accommodation and a convenient location, just a 10 minute drive or 30 minutes walk for those who like to stroll. This tour gives you plenty of free time to discover York for yourself and its magnificent history and culture!

We journey through the Brecon Beacons, with its picture perfect reservoirs, to Brecon, a beautiful cathedral town with views of the majestic mountains all around. We have some free time to explore the local shops and attractions as well as enjoying a cruise on the Monmouth and Brecon Canal. This historical waterway and fantastic feat of engineering (built before roads and railways) takes us on a scenic ride through a canal lock and over an aqueduct which carries the canal over the River Usk. We rejoin the coach at 17:00 to make our way back to South Wales.

Please be aware that the canal boat operates in all weather conditions, providing a unique experience regardless of the elements. While there are windows to enjoy the views, please note that there is no air conditioning, so it may feel warm on particularly sunny days.

Experience a special RHS flower show packed with flowers, food, crafts and fun, set against the beautiful backdrop of the magnificent Malvern Hills.

The Malvern Autumn Show held at the Three Counties Showground celebrates country living with vintage vehicles and fashions, harvest competitions, rural crafts and local, artisan food & drink markets. This must-see event for gardeners and gardening enthusiasts includes celebrity and special guests, dazzling autumnal flowers, plants and crops, remarkable giant vegetables, delectable food and drink and plenty of fun for the whole family. 

We rejoin the coach at approximately 16:30 to start our journey back to South Wales.

Visit the historic university city of Oxford with its honey-gold buildings, dreaming spires and riverside setting. The architecture is gobsmackingly fabulous, from the golden, stately university buildings to the atmospheric 13th-century pubs, wander through the cobbled streets, punt on the river and let the beauty of the city sweep you away. We depart Oxford around 16:30 to start our homeward journey back to South Wales.
