Discover historic Windsor with the famous castle dominating the town, before taking our intimate tea room experience cruise on the River Thames, offering the chance to travel in style from Windsor, the late Queen Elizabeth II's favourite home. To top off the weekend, we visit the home of Downton Abbey. Set amidst 1,000 acres of spectacular parkland, designed by the famous 18th century landscape gardener "Capability" Brown, join us as we explore the home of the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon at Highclere Castle, on a self-guided tour. Admire the stunning State Rooms and 'downstairs' where the lives of the Crawley Family and their servants played out to millions of enthralled viewers. Step into rooms from ‘Downton Abbey’ scenes as well as discovering the beautiful castle gardens and woodlands.

Our centrally located overnight hotel in Reading offers a comfortable bed and breakfast stay and allows you to easily explore the town centre.

Visit the historic university city of Oxford with its honey-gold buildings, dreaming spires and riverside setting. The architecture is gobsmackingly fabulous, from the golden, stately university buildings to the atmospheric 13th-century pubs, wander through the cobbled streets, punt on the river and let the beauty of the city sweep you away. We depart Oxford around 16:30 to start our homeward journey back to South Wales.

Choose FOLLY FARM - this great attraction isn’t just a farm though; it’s the complete animal experience with with lions, giraffes & rhinos, an indoor vintage funfair, and a whole host of indoor and outdoor adventure experiences. Mesmerise yourself with over 250 animals, along with many rare breeds and baby farm animals. New to Folly Farm is the Penguin Coast, a state-of-the-art saltwater penguin enclosure – a fun filled day for all the family.

After a day filled with family run we rejoin the coach at around 17:00 to start our homeward journey.

Best known as the birthplace of England’s most famous bard, William Shakespeare, Stratford upon Avon is a pretty historic market town situated on the banks of the River Avon and a popular tourist destination attracting over three million visitors a year. With its beautiful surroundings, wide range of tourist attractions and great shopping, it’s not hard to see why this town is such a hit with coach trip visitors.

Delve into the Bard's life and legacy with a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace. Take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque streets of the town centre, adorned with charming Tudor buildings, and visit the historic Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare is buried. For a scenic perspective, embark on a tranquil River Avon cruise, meandering through the picturesque countryside and passing by some of the town's most iconic landmarks. The historic Garrick Inn is one of the towns oldest buildings, dating back to the 16th century, though some parts of this traditional half-timbered building may be as old as the 14th century, and has witnessed centuries of stories, including tales of the plague!

We rejoin the coach at around 16:30 to 17:00hr to make our way back to South Wales.
