Hey there, Leisuretimers! As the nights start to draw in and the Autumn begins, so does the countdown to Christmas!

 
So we thought we'd give you our own countdown (in no particular order) to our 7 Favourite Christmas Markets...
 
1.) Manchester Christmas Market
 
With over 300 stalls to discover, the choice in Manchester is getting bigger and bigger each year and includes gifts, crafts, jewellery, clothes, toys and an array of food and drink. This giant festive bonanza is extremely popular with visitors from all over and caters for absolutely everyone. Unique, artisan and an unforgettable Christmas shopping experience!
 
 
2.) Bruges Christmas Market
 
The cosy yuletide atmosphere at the Christmas market in Bruges helps make Bruges Christmas Market one of the most vibrant markets in all of Belgium. It's picturesque town square location also features an ice rink for the bravest of Christmas shoppers to try. Do not attempt this after one too many mulled wines!
 
 
3.) Bristol Christmas Market
 
Bristol's Christmas Market is located in the area of Broadmead in Bristol Shopping Quarter and is perfect for taking care of all the families Christmas gift ideas. Shopping, festive markets, and enchanting attractions combine to make Christmas in Bristol special.
 
 
4.) Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre
 
The unique setting of Ludlow Castle is perfect for a medieval Christmas fayre. Festooned with seasonal greenery and bustling with jesters, you are guaranteed to have fun and enjoy the traditional atmosphere of this medieval setting. 5.) Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market
 
This is the largest authentic German Christmas Market outside of Germany or Austria, Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional goods and gifts as well as a selection of tempting food and drink! Enjoy live music on Victoria Square, whilst shopping for anything from unique handcrafted decorations to glass baubles, leather-work, toys, jewellery and much more!
 
 
6.) Bath Christmas Market
 
Bath Christmas market is Regularly voted amongst the most popular events in the UK. The 18-day Christmas shopping extravaganza is the biggest Christmas Shopping event in the South West. It consists of more than 170 beautifully decorated wooden chalets in the heart of Bath’s World Heritage Site.
 
 
7.) Gloucester Christmas Market
 
Gloucester Quays Victorian Christmas Market attracts over 250,000 shoppers. There is an also an open-air ice rink which is enjoyed by over 30,000 skaters. It is an unmissable event brimming with even more traditional festive cheer. It features more than 250 stalls and producers selling a wide range of fantastic food and drink.
