Brogdale Cider Festival

Cider aplenty in this weekend to rememember (unless you overindulge when it may be harder to recall)!

"Brogdale is home to the National Fruit Collection, the world’s largest collection of fruit trees and bushes. The collection preserves over 4000 varieties dating back to Roman times. Explore the orchards on a guided tour to discover interesting history stories and facts surrounding our fruit heritage. Brogdale Collections is the charity that keeps the National Fruit Collection open for public access, information and education The Brogdale Cider Festival, August Bank Holiday is a weekend to remember! The best local cider producers bring 60 delicious ciders for you to sample as you enjoy three stages of great local bands. Free talks and demos will run all weekend on subjects from foraging to Kentish wildflowers, as well as cookery demos. Local artisan food traders will keep hungry tummies filled, washed down with fresh local cider. Vote for your favourite cider of the festival on the Cider Trail and enter a draw to win a case of local ciders. You can also enjoy the fruit-filled orchards of the National Fruit Collection with a FREE guided walking or tractor trailer tour."
