Coach holidays that don't cost the earth
The British Motor Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of historic British cars, boasting nearly 300 cars in its collection, which span the classic, vintage and veteran eras. Within the art deco building, you’ll find it is more than just a museum, as there is a comprehensive archive and picture library, meaning there is something for everyone of all ages. On a guided tour you can learn fascinating stories of the cars and their personal histories. From its earliest days the British motor industry has been a vital part of the economy and the lives of people living in the Midlands and it is still a hub for automotive creativity today. The Museum tells the story of the birth, decline and rebirth of the motor industry and the cars it produced, as well as celebrating the skills and creativity of the people who designed and built them. The Film & TV cars zone includes some great movie vehicles – the fabulously pink FAB 1 from Thunderbirds, the Land Rover Defender used in James Bond's Skyfall movie, the Tomb Raider Defender, the Land Rover ‘Judge Dredd’ City Cab and a replica of the DeLorean from Back to the Future 2.
