Coach Trips & Holidays to Anglesey & the Llyn Peninsula

Head 'strait' for Wales' largest island and stunning peninsula for the best in coastal scenery!

The beautiful Isle of Anglesey was joined to the mainland in 1826 by Telford's Menai Suspension Bridge. From the minute you cross one of the bridges you’ll see stunning landscapes, unspoilt coastlines and picturesque towns and villages that are just waiting to be explored. There is so much to be discovered, from the islands rich culture and heritage and wonderful gardens to the unusual ‘moonscape’ landscapes that are home to an extraordinary amount of plants and wildlife in this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Across the Menai Strait, heading south, you come to the luscious Llyn peninsula. Visitors to nearby Snowdonia often don't venture this far, but it's another Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a great stretch of coastline with sandy beaches aplenty, fine surf and the wild, enigmatic Bardsey Island teasingly close to the south-west tip.

Anglesey Coach Holidays

Coach breaks to Anglesey & the Llyn Peninsula offer a great way to explore this picturesque region. With a range of coach operators offering packages that include transport, accommodation, and often meals and activities too, taking a coach holiday to Anglesey is a great way to enjoy a hassle-free break.

One of the biggest draws of this region is its stunning coastline. The Llyn Peninsula boasts over 100 miles of coastal path, offering breathtaking views of the Irish Sea and the Snowdonia Mountains. And with secluded coves, sandy beaches, and rugged cliffs to explore, there is something for everyone.

Another must-see attraction in the region is the historic town of Caernarfon. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the stunning Caernarfon Castle, a medieval fortress that was built by King Edward I in the 13th century. Visitors can explore the castle's ramparts, towers, and dungeons, and learn about the history of the town and the region.
