For the last decade the start of the Summer has kicked off at Stratford River Festival when the riverside comes alive with a host of free events and activities. Since it was established Stratford River Festival has grown to become one of the region’s leading free festivals. 2019 brought over 70,000 revellers into the beautiful town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The party continues into the town with so many places to eat and drink or be entertained. Stratford River Festival has won multiple awards including the Pride of Stratford Tourism Initiative of the Year Award. This two-day FREE celebration for all the family, is organised by Stratford-upon-Avon's Business Improvement District, on behalf of 420 fabulous town centre shops, cafes, restaurants and other professional businesses. You will have to try hard to include the usual popular Shakesperian sights with so much going on!
